wednesday afternoons

Ever since my work life in night shift started, wednesday afternoons have took on a special meaning in my life. Haa perhaps its equivalent to most ppl's sunday night before the next week of hectic work. Its also the time of the week where i'll feel more sentimental and nostalgic, dun ask me why i'm not sure also. Haa

This will be my last free wednesday afternoon as this week will be my last week in night shift. Guess its time to reflect on my past 6 months in night shift, which has probably been the most character shaping time period of my life other than in the army. Firstly, i wanna say sorry to many of frens whom i've met less or neglected over this period of time with my weird and abnormal work schedule timings. Its been very demoralising not to be able to attend much or even any class outings on friday nights. Its been demoralising that i'm unable to play soccer every week with my frens.

This also signals the end of my stint in my company as a manufacturing engineer. i believe i've realli learnt a lot in this role esp in night shift where there are like 20 tons of things to look at and prioritize and keep my shift moving ahead positively. Not to mention getting "F" many times over in the day because of screw-up incidents. Haaa. Overall i think i did picked up many lessons in man management, multitasking abilities and prioritizing my tasks and projects which will remain with me for a long while i guess.

WELL, I'M BACK IN DAY SHIFT SOON!!!!!! SO IT MEANS i can go OUT every night to meet FRIENDS!!!! haa hopefully i dun haf too much OT to do. =) well at least i try to meet up right? n my work timing is a bit more normal now. Haa. Cheers! Looking forward to meeting up with friends often, play soccer on sat, class outings and many many more!!! =D
