Spate of poor health
Took urgent leave from work today, hmm wasn't feeling too well cause kena slight fever again. Seems like i didn't realli recover from the acute bronchitis which i suffered during the month of May. Already sick for 4 times in 5 months. Had an overdose of antibiotics then n didn't realli recover so guess my immunity system is not in good shape. Morale of e story? Dun take so much antibiotics. LoL.
Drove into the heart of bukit timah with minjie and ys that day to fetch ys to his fren's house there. Got kinda lost and went past quite a number of houses. Singapore really got a lot of rich folks man, some of e houses looked freaking nice, big and realli............... out of imagination. Even went past 1 house that was like 4-5 storeys high. =S
A lot of ppl say u dun need to be rich to be happie, well i guess u can be rich and happie at the same time right? The belief of dichotomy between rich and happiness seems to be a limiting belief. Seems like the richest rewards that life can offer one is when one is willing to bear the risk that accompanies life's biggest decisions. Such as being able to bear the risk of quitting a stable job to pursue one's interest in other arenas. E risk of confessing your love that special person can be very high, but the rewards can be worthwhile. E risk of doing something different, something special that's not mainstream and could be subjected to many disapproving opinions from frens/family. Well, life seems to reward those who tried, those who take risks and those who aren't afraid to bounce back from failure. Easier said than done of coz, there's only a handful of ppl who will eventually make it. We only live once this lifetime, have you taken your fair share of risks to pursue what you realli wan in life? =)
*I might be able to afford the smallest house in bukit timah if i work as an engineer for 30 years. Sad right? Haha."
